Bohol and why this place is so memorable for me! ♥︎
I actually went two different times last year for work, so here’s the first half.
I got to collaborate with Access Travel and with that, I had the chance to fly to Bohol. This was all pretty last minute but it was all good because I got my neighbor/best friend turned into boyfriend with me – Daniel. 🙈 I guess it’s safe to say that this was where it all started. 🙂
We got to stay at Bluewater Panglao Bohol and it was just the perfect getaway for us. It was quiet, private and small but it was just what we needed!
The room was so vibrant and clean, I honestly didn’t want to leave! It also had a nice shower and tub <3 I really have no complaints! I didn’t expect anything but this was so much more! 🙂
As for the service, they were so accommodating and warm, and the food was just to die for!! Their adobo rice was so good, we had to order it for every meal. HAHA! No kidding though. They also had good desserts which we weren’t able to resist since we’re such sweet tooths.
Yum :(( Would you just look at that! I appreciated their cooking so much especially since I don’t have a province!
Rich in flavor and the ingredients were just put together perfectly!
I also love the ambiance here! Bright and cozy. They even have a band playing at night.
Now this is where we spent most of our time. I was in awe and it was just so peaceful! Plus, the waves were just so calming. Perfect area to bond and… eat some more. Lol. 😅
Here’s Daniel devouring his milkshake! By the look of it, you can already tell that it’s so sweet 🍦
Since we had spare time, we did a land tour and an island tour for two separate days. We got to see the manmade forest, tarsiers and the famous Chocolate Hills! Last time I went there was probably grade school so it was nice to see how it looked like now.
The following day, we checked out Virgin Island and Isola de Francisco when we did our island tour. Our timing was perfect because there weren’t a lot of people and we sort of had the area to ourselves!
3 days were allotted for this trip but as it was ending, we suddenly decided to go to Cebu! Lol. Yes we were that spontaneous – so spontaneous that we just rode a ferry since it’s so close anyway. :p It was just a day but we got lucky that our trip together got extended. Really good memories though. 🙂
