Revival

What was up with me the past year?

I know it really has been a while but thankfully, I can really say I am officially back! It took me sometime toΒ transition and sort of settle down with everything, but things have been reallyΒ really good and I am nothing but grateful. πŸ™‚

It’s been one heck of a journey but my friends and family really helped me with that. For a while, I flew back and forth to Cebu as well as Bohol for a much needed getaway! This is just one of the two reasons why IΒ love both places! :p I’ll share with you guys the second one on my next post. πŸ™‚

CEBU

My trip to Cebu’s been really spontaneous! I usually book a week or at least 2 days before flying out. Lol. It’s been easy because one of my high school best friends (aka. Reg, my love guru HAHA jk) lives there now. Cebu is pretty much like Manila for me but only smaller so since it was just a domestic flight away, we just went for it!

Stayed there for at least four days and all we did was wine, dine and did some island hopping. Reg had a yacht so it was pretty easy for us to get around without availing tours which was perfectly fine since we can go at our own pace.

Of course we had the famous Cebu lechon! :p

Siesta time with this view, don’t mind if I do. It’s really the simplest things that count.

Nice and I just had to take photos!! There’s something about beaches and blue waters. Definitely calms us down πŸ™‚

In terms of eating out there are three go-to places I would recommend when you’re there (and so far these have been my staple things to do whenever I visit):

1. Brique: My favorite brunch place there! I order my favorite tapa and the truffle shoestring potatoes! *oink*

2. La Vie Parisienne: I go for wine and pastries and the ambiance is just beautiful. (As seen on my previous Cebu posts!)

3. Morals and Malice: For nights out with friends. Perfect for me since it’s a sitdown type of restaurant and gastropub. You go to Morals to eat, and to the Malice side for the hanging out :p

BOHOL

I had the opportunity to go toΒ Henann Resort in Panglao, BoholΒ for work.Β Once again, I brought my friends with me and it was a blast. It was also timely because I just had my birthday and I was in it for a surprise. Henann was so welcoming and it was a post-birthday treat for me!

Nuel, a friend of mine and a manager in one. Lol. It was great having him there! πŸ™‚

Nice and I. Since prep to now, lol we’ve been through a lot together!

For the birthday girl. Yay :p

We stayed at one of the villas there. I love how it’s like a “mini Boracay” except with less people and it was really chill there. No parties but we definitely enjoyed the beach, the resort itself and the company of my friends. πŸ™‚

I can say this was my point of “revival”. I was at my happy state, I just did me, and I felt more like myself again. I got reminded with how important family and friends are! You are never alone. πŸ™‚

Shoutout to my other friends too! They weren’t with me in Cebu and Bohol but they made sure I kept myself busy!

Thank you Kath for always inviting me to your work, keeping me company and answering every phone call whenever I needed you. <3

The trio pretty much was inseparable then! Hehe. Love you.

Also to my readers/supporters, I also felt your presence and your love!

Thank you everyone for never leaving my side. πŸ™‚ I got the “break ” that I needed and I’m definitely back. Can say I’ve grown to be smarter and stronger. Stay tuned as I have more in store for you guys! <3
