Grand Festival Lights Parade

Miss the Disneyland Parades? We now have our very own! 🙂

I get very emotional during the holidays! I’m very sentimental and I love being in the moment so whatever celebration it may be – birthday, baptism, Christmas or New Year, it gets pretty close to my heart. Or maybe I’m just soft-hearted, lol.

Just last week, I was able to catch the Grand Festival Lights Parade at SM Mall Of Asia with my mom! It reminded me so much about the Disneyland Parades I experienced the past holidays and I am happy that we have our very own version now! How I wish we had an amusement park like that here in the Philippines, it was all so very magical!

The parade consisted of Sanrio characters and of course, Santa Claus! 🙂 Kids and kids at heart can really enjoy this! It touched me because it got me pretty nostalgic about my childhood and to think I was able to spend it with my mom and a few friends. As we grow up, we tend to get busier with life neglecting what’s there in front of us. This applies to our parents most especially who have been there every step of the way for us.

I’m so happy that I was able to spend this moment with my mom given our hectic and busy schedules. At least we were able to admire and be in the moment together! And I hope you guys get to share that moment with your loved ones as well. Christmas is the best time to bond with them because the lights, the sounds and the company really sets out the mood perfect for the holiday season!

Catch the Grand Festival Lights Parade every Saturday until Christmas Day! It starts at 5.30pm and will begin from the North Arcade and end at the Seaside Boulevard. They also have fireworks as the finale for every parade! Ahhh, what a sight to look at <3
