Girls VS. Boys

September 21, 2015

Don’t you girls wonder what it’s like being a guy? Don’t you have those moments that you wished you were a guy for some reason?! Lol. I must admit, I have those moments also. More often than not, most girls wonder what it’s like being a guy but I’ve never once heard guys wondering what it’s like being a girl! I mean, c’mon can guys feel for us girls, too? LOL. Sometimes I wish I were a boy because we girls have to worry about A LOT compared to them! Here’s a list of things that girls have to worry about more than guys!

  1. Manicures and Pedicures

I love getting my nails done! I love how thorough nail salons here in the Philippines clean nails, I love how we girls get to choose different colors of nail polish and I love that feeling you get after pampering yourself! Still a hassle though when we’re given so many options for nail polish colors and we can’t make up our mind! (Yes, it’s that hard of a decision for me!) I also pay more because I get gel polish instead of the regular one, so it doesn’t chip off that easy! Talk about costly! Meh :/ As for boys, they are not that superficial and shallow when it comes to as small of a thing such as nails, they’d just settle for a nailcutter at home – simple as that. Barely hear guys going out to get “manly pedis” Haha!

  1. Facials

To be fair though, there are guys who like getting facials. Probably not just as often as girls! (I get facials done monthly and to my boyfriend, that’s too often :)) Monthly breakouts are such a hassle too, as I make it a habit to inject my pimples immediately when it appears! Boys do experience acne too but they won’t get facials regularly like us girls! I like it for both cleansing and maintenance but guys I guess they’re not too maarte when it comes to their skin!

  1. Hair Removal: Waxing/Laser/Threading

Need I say more? Boys can just go around with hair everywhere – pits, legs, face, underarms, eyebrows… name it! And when it comes to girls doing that, it’s unattractive! So we go through the painful plucking/threading/waxing, or costly laser. Add to that the eyebrow trend where we girls worry about having the perfect brows, too!

  1. Makeup

Why are girls always late? Because we are fashionably late! Lol. And it really takes time for us to put together our whole look! From eye shadows to different shades of lippie to match our outfits, us girls do have a lot to think about because we’re given so many options unlike boys! They simply can walk out of the house not made up and dolled up. Plus boys don’t wear makeup unless they have to, lol.

  1. Giving birth, periods, and discharges (UGH!)

Because, duh… HAHA! Girls have those “monthly visitors” that make us both happy and sad at the same time! We worry about the stains it leaves and carrying ourselves whenever we experience it. I swear, it’s not the best feeling, boys! But we really don’t have any other choice but to deal with it! Aside from our monthly visitors, we also experience everyday discharges. Whatever type of “wetness” it may be (discharge, excess pee, or even sweat – eww), it’s such a discomfort for us and girls always have to be wary of these things! Plus, what we experience down there certainly affects our mood and how we carry ourselves. I guess it all boils down to using the perfect product and brand! With Carefree, you can look and feel fresh without having to worry about anything because it takes care of your everyday wetness. All is secured, safe and well, leaving you with no other option but to enjoy! 🙂

We girls love to pamper ourselves. To boys, it might be just kakikayans but really, it’s mostly just about cleanliness and hygiene! When you are fresh and pampered, it feels like you’re a newer and better version of you! Thanks to Carefree for this movement for us girls to be both fresh inside and out! 🙂

I agree for you in everything specially giving birth, periods, and discharges. When I gave birth I thought of all the things and it make me more realize how lucky I am to be a girl. However sometimes I want to try to be a man. They look always cool and calm. I wonder how they do that. Nice post arisse!

Hair removal! Ugh! I have hirsutism and this is a really big problem for me. When I’m wearing a skirt, my legs really draw attention
